Launched own real estate career in 1978; choose residential real estate.

Outstanding Sales Manager (#1 Company dollars of 9 offices) with same firm, 1980.

Opened own Real Estate Company, late 1981.

Started Buyer Representation brokerage in November 1982; stopped taking Seller listings in Sep 1986.

Broker/ Owner of Denver’s oldest exclusive buyer agency, December 1986 – present.       Barry leads the

way in Protection-Negotiations-Advocacy-and-Representation for Buyers!  And he loves doing it!

 

In 1982, 1 of 3 buyer agents in USA, Barry committed to develop and institutionalize this new form of client service.   Against great odds, 800,000 to 3, he has done this.  Now Barry is professionally known and respected as the “Father of Buyer Brokering” as a result of his resolve, his multi-area strategies and implementations of the same.  He was on the Colorado RE Commission’s Contract Forms Committee for 8 years; leading-national-trainer on Buyer Agency for over 100 REALTOR Assns; always working with media, financial community, and consumer groups to enhance the Consumer’s position in real estate.  Founded Buyer’s Resource 1989 and left there in April 1994.  Founder of NAR’s 50,000 Member Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) in 1989 and of National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) in 1994. Barry is a past President of NAEBA and in Hall-of-Fame of REBAC. Most importantly, Barry provides full fiduciary services to and for BUYERS on a daily basis.   And Smart Buyers are now insisting on these full and very specialized services – in ALL marketplaces throughout our Great Nation!
